We're springing into action ... are you?

Wow, it's April already, and we are in the swing of the busiest spring ever here at Home Stagers. We are in the process of helping hundreds of home sellers to get their sale before the bottom falls out of the market.

In this issue of the newsletter, we bring some great tips to help you get your property on to the market including making a great first impression in the hall, and ensuring your bedrooms are ready for inspection.

Hot from the desk of The Property Marketeer, I explain why our 4 point check list really helps you to sell by reviewing your marketing plan with you AND your agent.

Our new look stylist and design consultant training programmes are in full flow and I am looking to run an extra programme starting end of May/early June to meet demand for those of you who didn’t make the first run.

If you are interested in joining our sales team, then we are going through the selection process for our Sales Franchisees over the coming weeks. If you have already applied, you’ll be hearing from us again soon – but we’ve been SO rushed off our feet as you can imagine as the market is tightening up.

I am seeing many more agents turning to us for whatever help they can get to help their clients sell.

Worried about the Market Slowdown? Never before has the property market so badly needed the services of the home staging industry! A Home Stagers survey shows that sellers are willing to invest at least £1,000 in preparation, if it means they don’t have to reduce the price. Spending between 0.75% and 3% of the property price on staging can be more effective than reducing the price by 5%.

Over a third of landlords are at risk of committing a civil offence Almost one year on from its introduction, 40 per cent of UK landlords are still unaware of the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) leaving them at risk of committing a civil offence and being forced to pay tenants three times the deposit amount.
