Message from our Founder

Hello everyone,

Well, I couldn’t let October’s newsletter go by without having something to say about Halloween, especially now that I’m living in the USA. So welcome to our Halloween Special. Now don’t worry - I’m not going to talk about that contentious topic of American imports ‘trick or treat’ or give you the recipé for homemade pumpkin pie. More importantly it’s the realisation that if you’ve not accepted an offer by 31st of October you’ll not move until AFTER Christmas – now that’s Scary!!

I’d like to say a big thank you to Steve and Maria for keeping things running with the newsletter over the last couple of months while I’ve been settling in to my new home in a new country. I’ve already been back to the UK to film a new BBC1 programme coming to your screens in November - so look out for that. Many of you have asked how things will carry on without me in the country and the simple answer is that it’s very much "business as usual". My Directors Steve and Maria are running the day-to-day business. That now frees me up to focus on Global Branding, Promotions, Public Relations and developing the newsletter and websites – so watch this space.

So, what’s new this month?

Well, we have our EXTREME marketing plan which helps property professionals and homeowners get the most from their property marketing; we’ve got an interview with an Estate Agent; Chris shares why HE uses Home Stagers services to help his business and his clients; we’ve got some snippets from our clients who tell how they are coping in the market; we’ve got the latest Press and TV updates on where we are and what we are doing in the industry; we’ve given you some insights into the power of colour and why it pays to get professional help and what we’re doing to help developers to get those sales in before Halloween; the team brings you our own business success story and how we are helping property companies survive in this market; as well as the latest in new legislation which means you can now build a loft conversion without the need for planning permission and the latest in EPCs.
