WE KNOW SOMEONE WHO CAN MAKE THE
EARTH MOVE FOR YOU !
Glad to be moving, but sad to leave your
beautiful garden behind? Ever thought of taking your
garden with you? Well now you can, and Kim Wilde, rock
diva and guest garden designer on ITV's Better Gardens
and BBC's Garden Invaders, thinks it's a great idea.
Constant enquiries from home owners
who want to uproot their favourite tree or plant and
take it with them, prompted leading independent removals
and storage company Bishop's Move to team up with leading
gardening experts, to help home movers who love their
gardens to do just that. They've also produce a great
fact sheet in association with the Gardeners' Royal
Benevolent Society, a charity which supports gardeners
in need.

The fact sheet has even been endorsed
by rock diva and garden designer Kim Wilde who closely
supports the charity, she has also contributed some
down to earth advice to help people all over the country
take their gardens with them when they move house.
Kim Wilde, guest garden designer on
ITV's Better Gardens and BBC's Garden Invaders says:
"The growing popularity of TV garden shows encouraged
the British public to spend around £3.35bn on
gardening last year. But it's not really the cost factor.
We buy plants and trees to mark all sorts of special
occasions and it can be traumatic leaving it all behind
when you move house, which is why this advice is so
useful."
The leaflet is crammed full of information,
including plant survival tips and other things to consider.
For example, if you are moving out of one county to
another, the soil may be completely different and unsuitable
for your prized possessions.
But don't forget to tell your buyers
what you're taking with you. No one wants to view a
home with a lovely garden to find on the day they move
in, that half the plants have disappeared. So whether
buying or selling, make sure that the garden is detailed
in the sale agreement, so everyone involved is clear
about what is being taken or left behind.
