What with the Pantone colour of 2017 being Greenery and the ongoing love for all things leafy, the botanical trend is here to stay. We decided to bring a little of the outside indoors to the Home Stagers studio for this post, by styling a vignette reminiscent of Victorian glass houses. A calm spot for a little pruning and reading of gardening books, we gathered luscious ferns and palms, and used this beautiful scrolled table as our surface for plants, books, and gardening paraphernalia. This gorgeous vintage bucket chair was one of Collette’s recent finds, and it is already in the perfect colour, so we made that the focal point by adorning it with some cushions made from fabric by Carol Lake. Reclaimed watering cans with their soft grey patina make a simple but striking display, and old terracotta pots stacked into towers add a rustic, earthy touch.
